I whole heartily agree with AnnaJo. This photo certainly does tell a story. I've followed Nasa since the earlier days of its space program. I remember, vaguely (I was pretty young), the Gemini Program, all the way up to the current spectacularly successful 'Space-X' program. Thank the heavens (Ha-Ha!) the U.S. has people like Elon Musk and Nasa to find a way to bring us back to the stars. Absolutely love this shot of the Endeavour. Wish the shuttles were still flying but, everything has its time. L/F Cheers!

Alex Lapidus replied:

Thank you so much, Rick! I'm the right age to remember many of the Apollo missions, Voyager visits to Jupiter and Saturn, and then the beginning of the shuttle program, so it was quite a day for me to be there to see its end. I'm excited about all the new work happening now, and whatever comes next!

I like this image, Alex. It tells a story, doesn't it? f/l

Alex Lapidus replied:

Thanks very much AnnaJo, it was amazing to see up close and to have that sense of experience and wear.
