Description
Lions (Panthera leo) can climb trees better than most people might expect, but it turns out that they're not so good at descending. This young lioness missed a step and found herself hanging upside down from a branch by all four paws -- then her hind paws slipped off, and one more... She fell about ten feet (three meters), and fortunately landed safely to slink off through the grass. From the Grumeti region of the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania.
